Policies
Making a Reservation
Half of the rental amount is due at the time of booking. The final lodging balance is due 60 days prior to arrival, including all taxes, surcharges and additional fees noted on your Reservation. If booking a reservation within 60 days of your arrival, the full balance is due at the time of booking. Holiday bookings require the entire balance paid in full 6 months prior to your arrival date.
The minimum age to rent any of our properties is 35. No exceptions. The person renting the property must be staying at the property.
Security and Liability Waivers will be sent upon making a Reservation. These Forms must be Signed and Returned with your first payment.
How to Pay
We accept cash, personal checks, MasterCard, Visa, and American Express. JanesLodges processes invoices through Intuit/Quickbooks.
Reservations made through other Platforms; ie: VRBO; will follow the protocol of that Platform.
Security Deposits
A security deposit is required of $1000 to $5000, depending on the home. This deposit is due 30 days prior to arrival. This deposit protects the privately owned home you are renting against damages. The security deposit may be retained if there are damages to evaluate. The security deposit will be cashed. Please see the “Security Sheet” and “Cancellation Policy Sheet” within your Confirmation Package.
Cancellation Policy
If you need to cancel, all monies are non-refundable unless your exact dates can be re-booked. If we can re-book your exact dates, all monies received to date less a $300 handling fee will be returned. All monies received will be returned within 14 business days after your original reservation departure was scheduled. We regret that there are no refunds for late arrivals, early departures, weather, snow conditions, airport closures or road closures.
Minimum Stays
All Properties have a minimum night stay. A 7 night minimum stay is required during the Christmas and New Year Holiday dates. Reservations for fewer nights are possible depending on availability. A full cleaning fee will be added for stays less than the minimum nights required.
Check-In/Check-Out
Check-in is 4:00 P.M. or later on your arrival date. Check-out is 10:00 A.M. or earlier on your departure date.
Pets and Smoking
Pets are permitted in select properties with prior approval. Upon approval, a pet fee will be added to your reservation.
All properties are NON-SMOKING, no exceptions.
Housekeeping
Prior to your arrival, your vacation home is cleaned and furnished with fresh linens, towels and supplies. Daily housekeeping is not included, but is available for an additional fee upon advance request.
Events
If you are planning any type of event, you are required to discuss the nature of the event with us before the home is confirmed. You will be required to agree to the individual home rules as well as an Additional Event Fee. We reserve the right to cancel your reservation with no money refunded if your event is not disclosed and approved by Jane’s Lodges in advance. There is a maximum occupancy for each property holding an event.
Directions
Directions to the property which you have reserved will be provided in your Check-in Package. Key pick up will be disclosed in the Check-in Package as well.
